A Conscious Concert of Ancient Sounds.

This ancient sound bath is made up of the multi-instrumental sounds of Gongs, Didgeridoo, Tibetan Bowls, Handpans, Shamanic Flutes and more. The intention being to release stress, quiet the mind, inspire/open our heart, rest and rejuvenate.

About this experience:

First we will anchor inwards via a guided meditation before embarking on an inward journey directed by a range of sounds with three-to-four played concurrently on occasion. It is possible for the frequencies emitted to land in varying degrees throughout the evening ranging from unsettling and/or melancholic through to dreamy, upbeat and ethereal. All polarities are perfect and invite you to remain anchored, surrendered and open to the authentic ways your unique set of energy centres respond.

You may like to lay cocooned in a blanket and receive this conscious concert in a semi-lucid state. You may like to sit up in active meditation. You may like to watch with a childlike sense of curiosity observing each sound emission. All is on offer and you can of course change your mind at any time. This is your time to receive this transmission as you wish.

While the concert will reach a close at 8:30pm, integrative tea will be on offer if you wish to stay for a cuppa. Doors will close at 9pm.

Things to note:

Centre of You has plenty of bolsters, blankets, and cushions for you to get cosy with though feel free to bring any personal items that may afford you a sense of greater comfort and familiarity.

You will be invited to sit/lay upon the floor so loose clothing that enables easeful, light movement and deep breathing will serve you most supportively. There are chairs available should you need or desire one.

Arrival: Endeavour to arrive between 6:45pm - 7:00pm. To preserve the experience for all involved, doors will close at 7:15pm. Truly, it breaks our heart to have to turn latecomers away yet the disruption to the whole group experience by virtue of lateness does require management. We ask that you find understanding and consideration for the timebound nature of the container and make every effort to arrive on time.

Driving: Know Centre of You is on Chapel St and ample time to find a car spot is best to be factored into your plans. Park direct on Chapel St (spots unmetered after 5pm) or in Anchor Place, the open-air parking lot in the side street that runs opposite Centre of You (unmetered after 4pm).

Public transport - tram: Both the number 6 tram & 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. This is stop 31 on the number 6 tram (Moreland/Glen Iris) & stop 45 on the number 78 tram (North Richmond/Balaclava).

Public transport - train: Both Prahran & Windsor stations along the Sandringham Line will get you walking distance to Centre of You.
