Conscious Perimenopause: Reclaiming This Sacred Rite of Passage.

A full-day workshop honoring perimenopause as a sacred rite of passage. Gain clarity, compassion, and wisdom for this powerful transition.

What if perimenopause isn’t the beginning of the end...
but the beginning of who you’re becoming?

We’ve been taught to fear perimenopause -
to pathologize and medicate our shifting emotions,
to compare ourselves to who we used to be,
and to wonder where it all went wrong.

But what if this soulful transition isn’t a breakdown?
What if perimenopause is an initiation?

A sacred rite of passage that invites you to release everything you no longer need so you can step into the fullness of who you truly are.

Even if it feels disorienting.
Even if it arrives like a storm.

This is a day of gentle remembrance -
a space to honor perimenopause not as an ending, but as space-making:
a reorientation toward deeper self-trust and inner sovereignty.

Together, we’ll weave ancient cyclical wisdom with practical, archetypal embodiment practices to help you navigate this transition with clarity and presence.

Our intent is that you’ll leave feeling grounded, with resources that support your changing rhythms.

What to expect:

This full-day workshop is designed to support you in meeting perimenopause as an initiation, not as a withdrawal from life, but as an opportunity to embody what is true to you.

Through the embodied art of archetypal self-enquiry, participants will be guided through:

The Kiss of the Quickening
Explore the archetypal, cyclical crossover of The Quickening, the sacred threshold between the summer and autumn of life. Think of it as the magic hour between 3pm and 6pm. Life is still happening, but something within begins to shift.

Embracing the Emergence of Your Maga
Autumn is a time of harvest. It’s where your inner Maga lives, the Queen, the Sovereign, the Truth-Teller. And she is f#cking magical. Even if the world doesn’t see it right away. Here, learn to meet this threshold not with fear, but with awareness of the creative power and discernment rising within.

Grief, Rage & the Sacred Emotions
This transition often begins with emotions we’re taught to avoid: grief, sacred rage, betrayal.
These are not signs of failure; they are signs of awakening.
You’ll be supported in meeting what’s rising and understanding these feelings as part of the quickening, the sacred shake-up that begins your rite of passage.

Encountering the Void
The void is the birthplace of potential.
Learn how to stay present when the ground beneath you shifts. Discover how to soften into the unknown rather than resist it. Be guided through gentle somatic tools to regulate your nervous system and hold yourself with care during times of transition.

Healing the Wound of Comparison
We will gently explore the Wound of Aphrodite, the pain that arises when we measure ourselves against societal expectations of youthfulness, ability, and the unrealistic projection of the idyllic Maiden archetype.

We’ll make space for the collective grief that lives beneath the surface, grief born from a culture that idealises the Maiden while dismissing the power of our becoming.

You’ll learn to name and release these internalised ideals, and begin to root your worth in something far deeper. You’ll be supported to meet yourself with compassion and step into a new form of embodied self-respect.

Guided Drum Journey
Connect with the Wise One within.
Be led through a sound-led journey to access womb wisdom, inner guidance, and the next layer of your becoming.

Sacred Circle
A space to be seen, heard, and held. No fixing, no advice, just reverent witnessing and shared humanity in sacred community.

She facilitates transformational rites of passage and women’s embodiment workshops grounded in menstruality, rewilding, and soulful seasonal transitions.

Things to note:

Centre of You has plenty of bolsters, blankets, and cushions for you to get cosy with. We recommend wearing comfortable, loose clothes to enable deep breathing and sitting/laying upon the floor with ease. Something to cover your eyes, if you wish to do so (eg. eye mask, scarf). A journal is recommended as are any familiar personal items that will aid you in feeling grounded (crystal, teddy, scarf, etc).

Personal responsibility: Please make an assessment on whether you are feeling stable and resourced enough to explore the practices on offer in this event. Whilst this event is held within a safe, sacred container, participants are encouraged to assess whether they feel emotionally ready to explore practices that may bring up strong or tender feelings. While grounding tools and emotional safety will be supported throughout, this is not a therapeutic processing space, and each person is responsible for their own wellbeing and support needs.

No Photo/Video Content Will Be Captured: We recognise that being at an event where content is being captured can impact the personal comfort and nervous system regulation of our community. As such, it should be known upfront that this event is a photo and video free space. No content will be captured. We ask all participants to honor this agreement in respect of the shared experience by placing any recording devices away on arrival.

Arrival: Endeavour to arrive between 9:15am - 9:30am. To preserve the experience for all involved, doors will close at 9:45pm. Truly, it breaks our heart to have to turn latecomers away yet the disruption to the whole group experience by virtue of lateness does require management. We ask that you find understanding and consideration for the timebound nature of the container and make every effort to arrive on time.

Driving: Centre of You is located upon Chapel Street and while you may get lucky with an untimed spot, (try High Street) predominantly 1 and 2 hour parking is available (unmetered from 5pm). So you can fully settle into the practice, we suggest you avoid the need to move your car or risk a fine and park at the CARe multilevel carpark (8-14 King Street Prahran), a 140-metre walk from COY.

1 - 2 Hours parking will be charged at $5.60

2 - 3 Hours parking will be charged at $7.50

3-4 hours parking will be charged at $9.00.

Public transport - tram: Both the number 6 tram & 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. This is stop 31 on the number 6 tram (Moreland/Glen Iris) & stop 45 on the number 78 tram (North Richmond/Balaclava).

Public transport - train: Both Prahran & Windsor stations along the Sandringham Line will get you walking distance to Centre of You.

Finding Centre of You: Centre of You is nestled within the arcade that Chapel St Bazaar is in (217 Chapel St). It is up a flight of stairs with a wide landing at the half-way-point. Unfortunately, this current version of Centre of You does not have a wheelchair accessible lift. If you could use support in getting up the stairs or would like to discuss ways to make your experience at Centre of You more comfortable, please reach out via hello@centreofyou.com.au or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram.

Accessibility: At COY we aim to ensure our community and events are inclusive and accessible while alongside upholding the needs and responsibilities of our business and the businesses of our collaborating facilitators. Should you be in a time of financial challenge and unable to pay the full ticket price comfortably, please reach out via hello@centreofyou.com.au or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram

Ticketing T&Cs: We get it, life happens, therefore we will gladly refund you up until 24hrs before the event start time. After that, we have a strict no refund/no transfer to future events policy.
