Conscious Relating for Men Workshop.

Have you ever felt that there is truth to the phrase 'Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus’? Relating with the feminine can feel very alien at times and this can cause fear, misunderstandings, and conflict.

About the event:

We have designed an immersive workshop for men to empower themselves to communicate more consciously with women. This event is intended for all types of men, whether you are in a committed monogamous partnership, or a single bachelor, the content will support you through a range of deep discussions and exercises to unearth some of the more potent ways to connect authentically with women. The ‘Conscious Relating for Men’ workshop will turn you into a better lover, partner, son, brother, and king. If you are finding yourself feeling confused, frustrated, or stuck in your relationships with women, then we would love to invite you to join us with a group of like-minded men.

*Bonus Event Partnership

For those single men who are excited to put their newfound communication skills to use straight away, we have partnered with ‘Soulful Speed Dating’ who are running a special event on the evening of the workshop.

Soulful Speed dating is the perfect opportunity to break out of your comfort zone and meet new people. It's a fun, efficient way to see if there's chemistry and find love in just a few minutes! And with their unique twist of adding soul to the mix, you'll have the chance to connect on a deeper level and find a potential match who shares your values and passions.

All attendees of Conscious Relating for Men receive 20% off, using this link: Find out more info and book here

About Your Facilitators:

Patty McDonald - @pattymac.truth

After years in the corporate arena as an entrepreneur, accountant and executive, Patty began to wake up to the reality that life can be so much more than we are told. Through a spiritual journey that's unfolded over more than a decade, and has led to him living in 7 different countries, Patty has explored the far reaches of our human experience. Through profound experiences with 10-day silent meditation, plant medicine, tantra, cold water immersion, breathwork and philosophical study, he has cultivated a deep curiosity for how to optimise our lives, alongside an ever-growing sense of faith and gratitude for the magic of life all around us.

Patty struggled with sex, dating and relating with women for most of his life. Lack of confidence in this area crippled him psychologically, and seeped into all areas of his life. After coming into contact with some powerful emotional and spiritual paths, and applying a healthy dose of determination, he turned his life around in this area and now rates confidence and communication as some of his strengths. Patty is now in a beautiful committed relationship with his Queen Emina, and passionate about empowering other men to also have the relationship of their dreams.

Phil Krynski

Phillip has always had a passion for psychology and communication. Having spent the majority of his professional years in the sales and marketing arena for a range of organisations (including a coaching academy and a retreat centre), he has moved to supporting individuals in their pursuit of clearer and more authentic communication. Phillip has a well-rounded perspective on communication dynamics whilst drawing from his experience in the workplace, intimate relationships, therapy, transformative retreats, psychedelics, spiritual practices, and travel. He is privileged to have explored over 48 countries and has connected with humans from diverse cultures and backgrounds across the globe.

In his younger years, Phillip had countless issues connecting intimately with women and many times felt alone, rejected, and depressed. He recalls numerous nights being drunk after a night out and laying in bed at 3am desperately swiping on Tinder with one eye open, hoping for connection. Since then, Phillip has had a variety of experiences navigating the territory of open relating and dating. Through many trials and errors, he now has more clarity on how to utilise authentic communication to foster a deep connection with an intimate partner. He is committed to empowering men to create more conscious relationships with themselves and their partners.

Phillip’s happy place is surfing 4ft waves at a tropical sunset amongst friends and the palm trees.

Things to note:

Centre of You has plenty of bolsters, blankets, and cushions for you to get cosy with. We recommend wearing comfortable, loose clothes to enable deep breathing and sitting/laying upon the floor with ease. Chairs are available. A journal is recommended as are any familiar personal items that will aid you in feeling grounded.

Arrival: Endeavour to arrive between 9:45am - 10:00am. To preserve the experience for all involved, doors will close at 10:15am. Truly, it breaks our heart to have to turn latecomers away yet the disruption to the whole group experience by virtue of lateness does require management. We ask that you find understanding and consideration for the timebound nature of the container and make every effort to arrive on time.

Driving: Centre of You is located upon Chapel Street and while you may get lucky with an untimed spot, particularly on a Sunday (try High Street) predominantly 1 and 2 hour parking is available (unmetered from 5pm). So you can fully settle into the practice, we suggest you avoid the need to move your car or risk a fine and park at the CARe multilevel carpark (8-14 King Street Prahran), a 140-metre walk from COY.

Public transport - tram: Both the number 6 tram & 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. This is stop 31 on the number 6 tram (Moreland/Glen Iris) & stop 45 on the number 78 tram (North Richmond/Balaclava).

Public transport - train: Both Prahran & Windsor stations along the Sandringham Line will get you walking distance to Centre of You.

Finding Centre of You: Centre of You is nestled within the arcade that Chapel St Bazaar is in (217 Chapel St). It is up a flight of stairs with a wide landing at the half-way-point. Unfortunately, this current version of Centre of You does not have a wheelchair accessible lift. If you could use support in getting up the stairs or would like to discuss ways to make your experience at Centre of You more comfortable, please reach out via grace@centreofyou.com.au or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram.

Accessibility: At COY we aim to ensure our community and events are inclusive and accessible while alongside upholding the needs and responsibilities of our business and the businesses of our collaborating facilitators.
