‘Core Healing’ breathwork and circle is a unique fusion of holotropic and heart-centred breathwork techniques designed to prompt an emotional release.
What is Core Healing Breathwork & Circle?
Facilitator Sarah Michaels takes you on a guided journey of self-healing using your own breath as the key to unlock and release emotional blocks stuck in the subconscious and the physical and energetic body. In the first half of the session, you are guided into a strong breathwork sequence, which allows emotions to surface and be expressed in the moment. You may laugh, cry, scream, shake, experience euphoric bliss, and all the myriad of emotions in-between, sometimes all of them. Everything is welcome here.
After the strong breathwork session, Sarah eases you into a slower, heart-focused breath practice. So many of us are disconnected from our inner child or have unmet needs that weren’t acknowledged by our primary caregivers as children. Throughout this modality, you are guided to dialogue with your inner child. Held by Sarah’s strong, comforting maternal energy, your inner child is heard and held, reparenting and integrating past experiences or aspects of self you may have suppressed or abandoned as a coping mechanism. This practice requires self-compassion and vulnerability, with insight and freedom awaiting you on the other side.
After the breathwork, there is the invitation to share your experience with the group if that feels right for you.

Things to note:
Wear comfortable clothing as most of the session will take place cross-legged and laying down. In breathwork, it’s common to feel cold so bring a warm top. Water bottles and a journal for post-session self-reflection are welcome. Most importantly, bring an open heart and open mind.
Please arrive by 10:20am to allow spaciousness to visit the bathroom and settle in. There are plenty of bolsters, blankets and cushions to get cosy with though feel free to bring your own for a felt sense of familiarity and groundedness.
