Angela’s classes are taught in the tradition of Krishnmacharya which places an emphasis on moment to moment awareness of your present experience - sensations, thoughts, feelings and mind states.
This mindful movement is a powerful way of quietening the busy mind, opening the contracted body and settling into a simpler, more liberated way of engaging with yourself, others and the world around you.
Each class is 75mins and includes asana, pranayama and meditation to cultivate strength, clarity and sensitivity for your body heart and mind.
Classes are taught with an emphasis on the asana practice fitting to your body, breath mind rather than you fitting into the postures.
Angela has been teaching community classes for 26 years and alongside her Yoga path is a teacher of Buddhist practice in the Insight Meditation tradition.
