Drumming & Chanting Circle - Grounding, Active Meditation & Sharing.

You’re invited to join in on this co-created evening of spirituality, grounding and introspection accessed through the meditative, ritualistic trance state of chanting and shamanic drumming.

You absolutely DO NOT need to know how to drum or chant. This is not an activity for the ego, it is one for the soul.

Upon arrival into our nurturing womb-like space, slip off your shoes, step onto our magic carpet and shake off the day, as you anchor into the present.

About this experience:

The circle opens at 7pm. We will link our collective energy and ground into the here and now by setting an intention for our practice whether it be calling in support from our interdimensional team in the unseen, extracting energies that are not in service to our soul's evolution, recalibrating our nervous system for calm or making ourselves available to simply be present to hear the whispers that our internal guidance system wishes to amplify.

At 8:30pm, upon circle close, the choice is yours to leave should you feel complete or stay and marinate in kindred connections existing and newly formed. Make a tea, chat, jam together…flow with the mystical energy of spontaneity and creativity. Doors will close at 9pm.

If you have a medicine drum, sticks, rattle or other relevant instruments, bring them along. Otherwise, come as you are - there will be a wide selection of instruments for you to use on the night.

Things to note:

Endeavour to arrive by between 6:30pm and 6:45pm, to allow time to visit the bathroom and create your nest. Know Centre of You is on Chapel St and ample time to find a car spot is best to be factored into your plans. Park direct on Chapel St (spots unmetered after 5pm) or in Anchor Place, the open-air parking lot in the side street that runs opposite Centre of You.

Centre of You has plenty of bolsters, blankets, and cushions for you to get cosy with though feel free to bring any personal items that may afford you a sense of greater comfort and familiarity. Wear comfortable clothing for floor seating. There are chairs available should you need or desire one.

Accessibility: At COY we aim to ensure our community and events are inclusive and accessible. Should you be in a time of financial challenge and unable to pay the full ticket price comfortably, please reach out to grace@centreofyou.com.au or via DM on Centre of You Instagram. Together we will find a way for your heart to receive this beautiful practice.

Tickets:

Whilst the recommended exchange is $30.00, there is an option to donate more or less via the booking link. Each and every ticket and donation helps us keep Centre of You running and accessible to all.
