For Self-Love's Sake: A Date Devoted to the Greatest Love of All... YOU!

Whitney Houston sang it from the rooftops for decades and it couldn't be more true... "Learning to love yourself, it is the greatest love of all."

This is a night devoted to exactly that...Learning to love ourselves. It can seem a simple-sounding concept yet it's actually a tricky one to execute with consistency no matter where you are along your self-love journey.

Our mind's narrative can hook us into the allure of subscribing to self-doubt, comparison, not-enoughness, self-depreciation.. (the list goes on) hindering our ability to believe in ourselves. With belief, the possibilities available to us become limitless though without it, we can become limited by our self-imposed ceilings.

In this loved-up evening, we endeavour to flip the script and RISE above our perceived limitations by exploring the possibility available to each of us to deeply, completely and unconditionally accept, love and forgive ourselves come what may throughout this game called life... and most of all, BELIEVE in ourselves.

So get ready to go on a loved-up, romantic date with the most special person in your life - YOU!

We invite you to dress in a way that feels delightful to your senses, that ignites feelings of empowerment and grace, that brings you excitement as you get ready. **Keeping in mind that we will be predominantly upon the floor so comfort is the priority**

This is a night to romance yourself, to be guided home to your centre, to connect deeply with your heart, to give yourself the love that you so deeply are worthy of and deserve🥰

About this experience:

Created specifically to deepen your relationship to yourself via an array of self-love-centred activities, this evening is full of surprise and delight like great dates are meant to be! 🌷

What we will reveal is that we will be anchoring in and grounding with a heart-centred cacao ceremony. Cacao is a plant medicine that aids in heart-opening, unveiling to us when we become present enough to listen, the heart's callings. When we combine the energy of this medicine with our presence and availability to innerstand the heart’s whispers, content in the realm of bliss, joy, love, longing, grief, resentment, sadness or a deep sense of stillness may be experienced. Any arising emotion is serving you perfectly, so the invitation is one of allowance and surrender - to feel fully without judgement for the purpose of growth, healing, expansion and unconditional self-love.

Please let us know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, on heart medication or anti-depressants so we can adjust your dosage and check in with you.

About your facilitators:

Grace Elizabeth is the Founder, Director and Visionary of Centre of You, a multi-modal centre for inner-exploration. Grace's self-belief efforts have been an essential undertaking for her to step into all that she is creating on her solopreneurial journey of purpose and service. When doubts, disempowering narrative and thought gremlins visit Grace now, she feels more aware and better equipped to take the reigns as the fiercely loving, protective custodian of her mind. Self-compassion, patience, an evolving relationship with her inner-child and learning (still learning!) how to effectively communicate needs, boundaries and preferences as a fully-grown adult are some of the multi-layered realms of continued attention that have aided Grace in her self-love journey.

For more information on Grace's deliberate creation, Centre of You visit www.centreofyou.com.au

Shahna Sarpi is a qualified Nutritionist and mindset coach that is passionate about helping people live their healthiest and happiest lives. At the core of all her teachings is self-love. Having been on her own self-love journey, she has seen the immense impact it had on her health, happiness and ultimately, every area of her life. Shahna believes that self-love is the key to unlocking all of our wildest dreams. It's her desire for every person to fall in love with themselves and fall in love with their lives.

Things to note:

Centre of You has plenty of bolsters, blankets, and cushions for you to get cosy with. We recommend wearing comfortable, loose clothes to enable deep breathing and sitting/laying upon the floor with ease. A journal is recommended as are any familiar personal items that will aid you in feeling grounded (crystal, teddy, scarf, etc).

Arrival: Endeavour to arrive between 6:15pm - 6:30pm. To preserve the experience for all involved, doors will close at 6:45pm. Truly, it breaks our heart to have to turn latecomers away yet the disruption to the whole group experience by virtue of lateness does require management. We ask that you find understanding and consideration for the timebound nature of the container and make every effort to arrive on time.

Driving: Know Centre of You is on Chapel St and ample time to find a car spot is best to be factored into your plans. Park direct on Chapel St (spots unmetered after 5pm) or in Anchor Place, the open-air parking lot in the side street that runs opposite Centre of You (unmetered after 4pm).

Public transport - tram: Both the number 6 tram & 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. This is stop 31 on the number 6 tram (Moreland/Glen Iris) & stop 45 on the number 78 tram (North Richmond/Balaclava).

Public transport - train: Both Prahran & Windsor stations along the Sandringham Line will get you walking distance to Centre of You.

Finding Centre of You: Centre of You is nestled within the arcade that Chapel St Bazaar is in (217 Chapel St). It is up a flight of stairs with a wide landing at the half-way-point. Unfortunately, this current version of Centre of You does not have a wheelchair accessible lift. If you could use support in getting up the stairs or would like to discuss ways to make your experience at Centre of You more comfortable, please reach out via grace@centreofyou.com.au or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram.

Accessibility: At COY we aim to ensure our community and events are inclusive and accessible while alongside upholding the needs and responsibilities of our business and the businesses of our collaborating facilitators.
