Gather in sacred sister circle for a day of exploration, expression & connection—honoring the heartache of love & longing.
Join Dvonne and Lisa for a transformative day of exploration, expression and connection.
In this women’s circle, participants gather in reverence for the heartache that reflects how deeply they have loved and the surrender of their longings. Together, they create a safe passage for grief to move, breathe, and simply be.
“Our griefs are the truest parts of ourselves.” – Günter Grass
'They are a holy reminder of the fullness of our love, our longing, and the aliveness within us'
When a heart feels like it is shattering, it is because grief is an invitation to break open—to pour love into the present moment and be called back to life. The more one grieves, the more whole and holy they become.
What to expect:
🤍 Prayer
🤍 Grief honouring and processing
🤍 Gentle guided movement
🤍 Solo and partnered practices
🤍 Connection through sisterhood and sitting in circle
🤍 Cups of tea
This is for women who:
🤍 Want to learn how to be with, honour and explore the nuances of grief
🤍 Have a longing to accept what was, what could have been, and what is
🤍 Want to be held in sisterhood as they grieve
Allow your heavenly heart to be held
With grace, glory and gratitude
With patience, presence and peace
May it be subtle, soft and slow
Her Holy Heartache is a space where the love within the heart is awakened.
About your facilitators:
Dvonne Loring - @dvonne
Holistic Counsellor | Coach | Embodied Space Holder | Creator of Safe Authentic Spaces
A woman guided by the depths of her heart, authenticity, expression, and embodiment are the pillars by which she lives. Dvonne has an insatiable curiosity for the endless textures of our human experience and is ever-humbled by the greater workings of life itself. Informed by her tertiary education, work across disability, mental health, and various wellness spaces, as well as her rich lived experience, Dvonne’s practice and approach to space holding invite women to discover and express their authenticity, creating and living a life from this embodied place.
Lisa Anderson - @lisawildloveanderson
Faith-Fuelled Feminine Embodiment Coach
A woman in devotion to the richness of life, the depth of love, and the full spectrum of emotion, without sacrificing truth. The foundation of her ministry is grounded in the belief that we are wonderfully made—bodies, emotions, and all. With a deep understanding of feminine design, her work invites women to soften and return to a sense of safety, so they can move into a life led by a sound mind, a steady heart, and the wellspring of their vitality and nature as women.
A few notes from Dvonne & Lisa:
We invite participants to tune into whether this experience feels right for them—only they truly know if they are ready and willing to explore grief and love in their depths. There is no pressure or expectation; each person will go only as far as they feel comfortable. The work offered is gentle yet deeply enriching.
At this stage, this gathering is for those who reside in a female body.
Not knowing what one is grieving is another natural expression of grief. It comes and goes, and there is no need to always understand what is being grieved. The focus is on feeling the grief rather than thinking about it.
We offer a Her Holy Heartache Community, for those feeling they would like to deepen this work. This is a 30 day closed container offered to those who’d like further integration, access to intimate community, holding and support from Lisa and Dvonne. A space for continued sharing and reflections amongst members where Lisa and Dvonne are available to answer questions that may arise. This isn’t intensive coaching, more simple suggestions, guidance and/or practices from us to land after HHH and support integration of this work into life beyond HHH.
HHHC begins 7 days after HHH - Sunday 6th April - 5th May
Things to note:
Centre of You has plenty of bolsters, blankets, and cushions for you to get cosy with. We recommend wearing comfortable, loose clothes to enable deep breathing and sitting/laying upon the floor with ease. Something to cover your eyes, if you wish to do so (eg. eye mask, scarf). A journal is recommended as are any familiar personal items that will aid you in feeling grounded (crystal, teddy, scarf, etc).
Personal responsibility: Please make an assessment on whether you are feeling stable and resourced enough to explore the practices on offer in this event.
Notice of Partial Moment Amateur Photography/Videography: There are many events held at Centre of You where no content is captured. The facilitator of this event however wishes to capture moments of this gathering for future marketing and community-sharing purposes. This will take place via their personal device captured by themselves or a representative. We recognise that being recorded can impact personal comfort and nervous system regulation and we want to honor your preferences. If you do not wish to have your image captured yet still wish to join, know that this is entirely possible at this event. Please speak with us at the door so we can honour your boundaries. If you’d like to review any footage captured at the conclusion of the event, you are most welcome to do so. As the facilitators are capturing moments at this event, you also may do so if the desire arises.
Arrival: Endeavour to arrive between 10:15am - 10:30am. To preserve the experience for all involved, doors will close at 10:45am. Truly, it breaks our heart to have to turn latecomers away yet the disruption to the whole group experience by virtue of lateness does require management. We ask that you find understanding and consideration for the timebound nature of the container and make every effort to arrive on time.
Driving: Centre of You is located upon Chapel Street and while you may get lucky with an untimed spot, particularly on a Sunday (try High Street) predominantly 1 and 2 hour parking is available (unmetered from 5pm). So you can fully settle into the practice, we suggest you avoid the need to move your car or risk a fine and park at the CARe multilevel carpark (8-14 King Street Prahran), a 140-metre walk from COY. 3 hours parking will be charged at $6.90.
Public transport - tram: Both the number 6 tram & 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. This is stop 31 on the number 6 tram (Moreland/Glen Iris) & stop 45 on the number 78 tram (North Richmond/Balaclava).
Public transport - train: Both Prahran & Windsor stations along the Sandringham Line will get you walking distance to Centre of You.
Finding Centre of You: Centre of You is nestled within the arcade that Chapel St Bazaar is in (217 Chapel St). It is up a flight of stairs with a wide landing at the half-way-point. Unfortunately, this current version of Centre of You does not have a wheelchair accessible lift. If you could use support in getting up the stairs or would like to discuss ways to make your experience at Centre of You more comfortable, please reach out via grace@centreofyou.com.au or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram.
Accessibility: At COY we aim to ensure our community and events are inclusive and accessible while alongside upholding the needs and responsibilities of our business and the businesses of our collaborating facilitators. Should you be in a time of financial challenge and unable to pay the full ticket price comfortably, please reach out via grace@centreofyou.com.au or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram
Ticketing T&Cs: We get it, life happens, therefore we will gladly refund you up until 24hrs before the event start time. After that, we have a strict no refund/no transfer to future events policy. If you are no longer able to attend and wish to pay forward your ticket to someone within the community, be in touch via grace@centreofyou.com.au or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram.
