As we move into the heart of Winter, we look to cultivate hygge - a Danish word for "a quality of coziness and contentment".
This session is encouraging us to slow down, to nourish and rejuvenate. Going deeper within we can start to notice the body softening, the brain quietening and the heart rate slowing down.
Donna will guide you through a gentle and supportive set of restorative yoga poses, allowing your body to feel completely safe and held. During this sublime state of relaxation and release, Stephanie provides a live soundscape using her celestial voice, and a range of healing instruments including gongs, Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, and chimes.
This divine session will provide a peaceful and supportive space for you to draw inwards and connect to your inner wisdom and higher self leaving you feeling nurtured and loved.
Your Guides:
Donna
A yoga teacher for more than 10 years, she has studied Somatics, Tibetan Buddhism, meditation, Tripsichore & Restorative Yoga. Being passionate about restorative yoga Donna continues to study with some of the most respected and renowned international teachers - Judith Hanson Lasater, & Lizzy Lasater, Cindy Lee, and Caren Baginski. Her love for yoga - and particularly restorative, is expressed in the attention to detail and hands-on assistance she gives to each student. – after all Restorative yoga is about receiving, relaxing, and softening. Most importantly the asana pose fits the person – not the person fitting to the pose.
With the support of blankets, blocks, straps and bolsters; both the body and mind come into a state of deep relaxation and centeredness.

After leaving the stage, Stephanie completed her yoga teacher training and through yoga discovered sound healing, which from the very start felt like the home she’d always been searching for. She has studied Sound Healing at the Sound Healing Academy and completed training in Gong Therapy with internationally renowned gong master Mehtab Benton. She has studied Devotional Chanting with Grammy-nominated artist Krishna Das and The Yoga of Sound and Mantra with Mei Lai Swan.
