O'gasmic Cacao Ecstatic Dance - A Celebration of Life.

Move, feel, and heal through dance, cacao, and community. Celebrate life while supporting a family in need during a time of deep loss.

Grief and dance may seem like unlikely partners, but in truth, movement is one of the most powerful ways to honor life, process emotions, and reconnect with the aliveness in our bodies—these temporary, miraculous vessels we inhabit.

O’gasmic Cacao Dance is a space to awaken your senses, move freely, and celebrate life through embodied expression. Whether you are navigating loss or simply ready to embrace the full depth of your being, this dance is an invitation to feel, release, and rejoice.

Come as you are. Let cacao open your heart, let the music guide your body, and let's dance in devotion—to life, to love, and to the beautiful impermanence of it all.

This event is also a community offering of love and support. Proceeds will go to dear friend and COY community member Reneé Taylor, who is now raising three sons alone and managing the family business after the sudden passing of her husband, Mark Taylor.

Mark suddenly passed away, leaving his wife, Renee, and their children in shock and devastation. His loss has created an irreplaceable void in their lives, and they now face an unimaginable reality without him.

Funds raised will help provide Renee and the children with some relief and support during this tragic time, allowing them the space to grieve this profound loss.

What to expect:

O'gasmic Cacao Dance begins as a circle of humans who share a warm, nurturing cup of cacao together while naming what's alive for them (commonly valid trepidation, uncertainty, curiosity, excitement) before setting personal intentions. A live guest ecstatic dance DJ then guides a free-movement dance set inviting consistent, embodied, exploratory connection with self before optionally sharing personal inner experiences back in community circle to close.

You're invited to indulge your senses upon this tantalizing dance journey of bliss.

Aligned with Neo-Tantric practices like somatic shaking and ecstatic dance, O’gasmic Cacao Dance includes the energy of eros, the releasing of the mind and celebration of our pure being.

While s.xual energy is welcome in this space it is welcome to run vertically - meaning you are experiencing your pleasure individually for YOU - you are not horizontally putting your energy ONTO others. That way we can safely enjoy our own experience.

You are invited to allow the music to move your body in ways that evoke pleasure and connection to self. This can look like exploring varying movement paces. i.e. moving sensually and slowly then passionately and erratically. This can look like incorporating sounding into your dance as different emotions and feelings meet you. This can look like removing items of clothing - all humans are welcome in this dance to experiment with the removal and addition of clothing (lower underwear remains on).

While your facilitator, Chloe Adriana does run events where shared s.xual energy is welcome, O’gasmic Cacao Dance is not that event. If your own s.exual energy ignites within this dance journey, be present with it, move with it, explore it. This event is an inner-experience... no-one will know what your dance entails unless you choose to share about it later.

Testimonials:

"That was liberating beyond words. The container you created for me to unleash, let go and just be with myself was amazing. The energy in the room, the music, the guidance, the permission... incredible."

"Thank-you for holding/hosting this space to enable everyone to fully express themself, particularly witnessing and experiencing a space where women can be topless among men and feel respected and not sexualised. To also witness different body types in a non-sexual context."

O'gasmic Cacao Dance is a MOVEMENT!

O'gasmic Cacao Dance is for all genders, it is LGBTQI+ - BIPOC friendly.

Arrival: Endeavour to arrive between 4:15pm - 4:30pm. To preserve the experience for all involved, doors will close at 4:45pm. Truly, it breaks our heart to have to turn latecomers away yet the disruption to the whole group experience by virtue of lateness does require management. We ask that you find understanding and consideration for the timebound nature of the container and make every effort to arrive on time.

Driving: Know Centre of You is on Chapel St and ample time to find a car spot is best to be factored into your plans. Park direct on Chapel St (spots unmetered after 5pm) or in Anchor Place, the open-air parking lot in the side street that runs opposite Centre of You (unmetered after 4pm).

Public transport - tram: Both the number 6 tram & 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. This is stop 31 on the number 6 tram (Moreland/Glen Iris) & stop 45 on the number 78 tram (North Richmond/Balaclava).

Public transport - train: Both Prahran & Windsor stations along the Sandringham Line will get you walking distance to Centre of You.
