An invitation to have all 5 of your senses enlivened in a fun & fresh way!
Because you deserve to be nurtured...
Because you deserve to simply BE…
Join us for live vocals, a sound healing with crystal, Tibetan and Nepalese bowls, a Blue Lotus Cacao blend journey, connection exercises, aromatherapy, a gratitude walk and community tea & fruit feast.
What to expect:
See, hear, smell, taste, touch and feel an array of delights. It is our intention that you leave feeling nurtured, nourished, healed, open, at peace, purposeful, joyful and transformed. We will have fun with some activities for connection to self and connection to others. How much you're open to and wish to explore is up to you and what you bring to the table.
We will focus upon the importance of purpose in life and be taken through a visualisation process to help deepen into our purpose and walk our path with a special twist.
You will hear and feel deep vibrational music with a wide variety of frequencies and sounds from Tibetan & Crystal bowls, drum, and the Nepalese on-body “Golden Bowl”. Angelic, ethereal channelled singing and light language will too be interwoven into the experience.
We will finish the evening with the absolutely beautiful “Walk of Gratitude & Appreciation”...this you will find out more about on the night though it is anticipated that you'll be glad you came to experience this in itself.
You are all invited to stay and enjoy tea and connected chats while eating the fruit that absorbed all the vibrational sounds from the evening's instruments and loving frequencies.
About your facilitator: @djmisskara
It’s quite an interesting path that Kara has taken to end up being in sound healing and music as a DJ, Vocalist and Songwriter. Her interest in health and healing began in high school which led her to complete a Bachelor of Applied Science Health Promotion at Deakin University in Melbourne. In 2009 Kara began training for 6 years as a vocalist under Frank Sita at the Stia School of music in South Yarra Melbourne. Kara (aka mISSkARA), now lives and performs across Melbourne and travels often to the Gold Coast and surrounding areas for sound healing and DJ gigs.
“It’s such a blessing to have all the pieces of the puzzle fall into place, to be on purpose & be doing this work with and for you all” - Kara

More things people have shared:
♥️ Before I was anxious and fatigued. During I was relaxed/peaceful. After I was still peaceful & my heart rate had slowed down. Thank you.
♥️ I felt quite anxious for the past couple months and even today specifically, wasn't the best with time management but as soon as I arrived at the space I started to feel calmer.
♥️ The cacao ceremony was the perfect way to settle in and I felt so seen and heard. I was pleasantly surprised by the aromatherapy aspect of the session. I liked the drum that was aimed at my different chakras. I felt strong and brave after the session was done. Thank you so much Kara.
Things to note:
Centre of You has plenty of bolsters, blankets, and cushions for you to get cosy with. We recommend wearing comfortable, loose clothes to enable deep breathing and sitting/laying upon the floor with ease. A journal is recommended as are any familiar personal items that will aid you in feeling grounded (crystal, teddy, scarf, etc).
Please Bring:
A piece or 2 of fruit for the fruit altar to absorb the vibrations if you wish to feast on it later.
A crystal or piece of jewellery if you wish for the alter to soak up the sound vibrations for you to take home.
A scarf for one of the activities. The lighter the material the better, think floating material.
An eye mask or something extra to cover your eyes so you can drop in further to receive the sounds
A water bottle.

Arrival: Endeavour to arrive between 6:15pm - 6:30pm. To preserve the experience for all involved, doors will close at 6:45pm. Truly, it breaks our heart to have to turn latecomers away yet the disruption to the whole group experience by virtue of lateness does require management. We ask that you find understanding and consideration for the timebound nature of the container and make every effort to arrive on time.
Driving: Know Centre of You is on Chapel St and ample time to find a car spot is best to be factored into your plans. Park direct on Chapel St (spots unmetered after 5pm) or in Anchor Place, the open-air parking lot in the side street that runs opposite Centre of You (unmetered after 4pm).
Public transport - tram: Both the number 6 tram & 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. This is stop 31 on the number 6 tram (Moreland/Glen Iris) & stop 45 on the number 78 tram (North Richmond/Balaclava).
Public transport - train: Both Prahran & Windsor stations along the Sandringham Line will get you walking distance to Centre of You.
