Solana The Artist: Live in Concert - Soften into Being.

After 4 years in Australia, Solana the Artist is hosting her first-ever ceremonial concert - an experience that many have been asking for!

***IMPORTANT NOTICE BEFORE BOOKING YOUR TICKET - NO REFUND POLICY***

About the event:

This will be an evening full of depth, connection, poetry, and song. The evening will begin with a complimentary chai on arrival before being guided into a grounding meditation to nestle and settle into the space and tune into absolute receiver mode.

Solana will then share her organic acoustic creations alongside relatable stories of her lived experiences. After her first set, local Poetess and Mermaid, Emina Ashman will mesmerize you with one of her written pieces of art in support of this evening, before Solana takes you on a deep sound journey throughout the ancient Middle East and deep into yourself.

While you’re blissfully immersed in the sweet vibrations of ancient sound and calls of the desert, you will be invited to rise and join Solana in song. In igniting our voices altogether, we explore & experience vocal resonance rippling through you, ending the evening with a true sense of unity and empowerment.

About the artists:

Solana The Artist

Through the universal language of sound and her own unique expression of it, Solana invokes a range of raw emotion that allows a softening into an elevated state of consciousness. This softening allows her audience to access an invocation of ancestral memories and codes that are embedded in the body and soul as they immerse in her ethereal song.

Solana's intuitively weaved creations are a blend of ancient Middle Eastern inspired song lines, primal/non-linguistic vocal expressions and world instruments. While having shared her incomparable sound since 2014 in various settings all over the world, Solana inspires and empowers people to re-ignite their own natural voices. Solana often weaves this reclamation of voice into her ceremonial offerings and performances as she is passionate about the powers and potential that our voices hold, wholeheartedly believing that our voices liberated and united can have a massive impact on changing the vibration of this world.

Emina Ashman

Emina is a poetess, performer, and priestess. For her, art is a channel for ritual and romancing with life. In her writing, she celebrates the sensuous truths that touch her heart and soul. Her words reveal a perspective that favours beauty, love, and aspiration. Her style weaves together journeys of spirituality, synchronicity and sacred relationships. She is known for her bestowing spoken word pieces and co-created artistry with music producers and embodiment practitioners.

Things to note:

Centre of You has plenty of bolsters, blankets, and cushions for you to get cosy with though feel free to bring any personal items that may afford you a sense of greater comfort and familiarity.

You may dress up though as you will be invited to sit/lay upon the floor, see comfort as priority with comfortable, loose clothing being most supportive. There are chairs available should you need or desire one.

Arrival: This concert is a whole experience and presence throughout is intended. Endeavour to arrive between 7:30pm - 7:45pm to allow enough time to visit the bathroom and settle in. To preserve the ceremonial container, doors will close at 8pm upon commencement.

Driving: Know Centre of You is on Chapel St and ample time to find a car spot is best to be factored into your plans. Park direct on Chapel St (spots unmetered after 5pm) or in Anchor Place, the open-air parking lot in the side street that runs opposite Centre of You (unmetered after 4pm).

Public transport: Both the number 6 tram & 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. The Sandringham Line train will get you walking distance to Centre of You - hop out at Prahran Station.

Finding Centre of You: Centre of You is nestled within the arcade that Chapel St Bazaar is in. It is up a flight of stairs with a wide landing at the half-way-point. Unfortunately, this current version of Centre of You does not have a wheelchair accessible lift. If you could use support in getting up the stairs or would like to discuss ways to make your experience at Centre of You more comfortable, please reach out via grace@centreofyou.com.au or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram

Accessibility: At COY we aim to ensure our community and events are inclusive and accessible. Should you be in a time of financial challenge and unable to pay the full ticket price comfortably, please reach out to grace@centreofyou.com.au or via DM on Centre of You Instagram. Together we will find a way for your heart to receive this beautiful experience.

***IMPORTANT NOTICE BEFORE BOOKING YOUR TICKET - NO REFUND POLICY***
