Unlocking Women’s Wisdom - A Workshop of Breath, Meditation & Sound.

A special event for women with Kiran Jot and Ginny.

This amazing afternoon is dedicated to women returning back to their authentic and powerful self. We are the creators of life and by our birthright carry the spark of creation within. Deep within us we are intrinsically connected to ancient wisdom and sacredness. However, the stresses of life can take over and hinder our ability to recognise and remember this aspect. During this transformative afternoon, we will take deep rest, receive and connect with our Spirit.

What to expect:

Through a gentle practice of breath and meditation we will release the karmic patterns that no longer serve us, cut ties with relationships that hold us back and energetically give ourselves permission to embrace newness. We will reconnect to our spiritual lineage through sacred ritual as we return to the original essence of the Goddess and establish our connection to the higher realms. Rejuvenate as we connect with the cosmos through a gong bath. The Moon, Neptune and Earth gongs will be played promoting the release of deep stress and bringing us into a deep state of relaxation.

All are welcome and no experience is necessary.

About you facilitators:

Kiran Jot - @kiranjot.yoga, www.kiranjot.yoga

Kundalini Yoga found Kiran Jot in Bali in 2009, during a quest for a deeper and more meaningful connection to self, to life and this human experience. Kiran Jot showed up to class religiously for the next two years with her teacher and inspiration Guru Want Kaur and completed her teacher training in Bali in 2014 with late Guru Dass Singh. Kiran Jot fell pregnant in the training with her first son and has since completed the Awakened Woman Conscious Pregnancy teacher training whilst pregnant with her second son with Suraj Kaur in Queensland. Since her personal journey into Motherhood, she has felt a deep calling and love for supporting Mothers, raising conscious and compassionate boys/children and empowering woman to stand in their own power and light to lead the way for their families and community.

Kiran Jot dedicates her life to supporting others in their own healing and personal awakening to their soul, their light and gifts while embracing their perfectly imperfect Being.

There is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. You are the pot of gold!” Guru Dass.

Virginia aka Ginny

Virginia has shared the teachings of Kundalini for over 18 years in Australia and around the globe. In 2009, she trained with Guru Jivan in Melbourne and since then has completed several level 2 qualifications too. Although she loves teaching Kundalini yoga she also holds gongbaths/therapy and Gong yoga nidra every now then. She is also a Sat Nam Rasayan healer and enjoys collaborating with other amazing teachers. She’s presently teaching at Kundalini House and running workshops and events in Melbourne.

Things to note:

Centre of You has plenty of bolsters, blankets, and cushions for you to get cosy with. A journal is recommended as are any familiar personal items that will aid you in feeling grounded (crystal, teddy, scarf, etc).

Personal responsibility: Please make an assessment on whether you are feeling stable and resourced enough to explore the practices on offer in this event.

Arrival: Endeavour to arrive between 3:45pm - 4:00pm. To preserve the experience for all involved, doors will close at 4:15pm. Truly, it breaks our heart to have to turn latecomers away yet the disruption to the whole group experience by virtue of lateness does require management. We ask that you find understanding and consideration for the timebound nature of the container and make every effort to arrive on time.

Driving: Centre of You is located upon Chapel Street and while you may get lucky with an untimed spot, (try High Street) predominantly 1 and 2 hour parking is available (unmetered from 5pm). So you can fully settle into the practice, we suggest you avoid the need to move your car or risk a fine and park at the CARe multilevel carpark (8-14 King Street Prahran), a 140-metre walk from COY. 3 hours parking will be charged at $6.90.

Public transport - tram: Both the number 6 tram & 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. This is stop 31 on the number 6 tram (Moreland/Glen Iris) & stop 45 on the number 78 tram (North Richmond/Balaclava).

Public transport - train: Both Prahran & Windsor stations along the Sandringham Line will get you walking distance to Centre of You.

Finding Centre of You: Centre of You is nestled within the arcade that Chapel St Bazaar is in (217 Chapel St). It is up a flight of stairs with a wide landing at the half-way-point. Unfortunately, this current version of Centre of You does not have a wheelchair accessible lift. If you could use support in getting up the stairs or would like to discuss ways to make your experience at Centre of You more comfortable, please reach out via grace@centreofyou.com.au or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram.

Accessibility: At COY we aim to ensure our community and events are inclusive and accessible while alongside upholding the needs and responsibilities of our business and the businesses of our collaborating facilitators. Should you be in a time of financial challenge and unable to pay the full ticket price comfortably, please reach out to grace@centreofyou.com.au

Ticketing T&Cs: We get it, life happens, therefore we will gladly refund you up until 24hrs before the event start time. After that, we have a strict no refund/no transfer to future events policy. We kindly ask that you respect our policy.
