Centre of You is pleased to be hosting Dr.Hari Haran, internationally renowned kirtan & meditation specialist, mantra expert & sound healer during his Australian visit from India.
About Vedic Astrology:
Vedic Astrology is an old science like Ayurveda which originates from the southern part of India. Dr.Hari Haran hails from a family of Vedic Astrologers. His grandfather was a sought-after Astrologer by the first family of USA, his father authored 60+ books on Vedic Astrology and Dr.Haran himself is a much sought-after Astrologer around the world.
Dr.Haran says "We can prepare and support ourselves to meet and face any obstacles and challenges upon our life path with the information available to us through our personal astrology birth chart."
The information afforded to us through Vedic Astrology alongside our own innate insight can serve to guide us when applied to our personal birth chart or charts we may interpret for others. Layered with planetary music, chants and mantras that aid us in stabilising our mind and remediating discomforts from physical ailments serve us by evoking the spiritual power within us required to face and overcome any hurdles.
What to expect:
An interactive workshop focused upon the basics of Vedic Astrology principles where you'll learn about the houses, planetary placements and how they may be of influence at any given timeframe. You will be able to cross-reference the teachings with your personal birth chart by learning which planetary combinations are running in your chart (and life experience) now and across all timestamps throughout your lifetime.
Your date of birth, location of birth and time of birth details are requested upon workshop commitment so that Dr.Haran can prepare your astrology chart for you to reference throughout the teachings.
Included within the workshop cost is a book on Vedic Astrology written by Dr.Haran's father, author of more than sixty books on the subject to further support your ongoing learnings.
Note: No personal readings will take place throughout this introductory workshop. You will refer to your birth chart (the frozen, unchangable positions of the planets at the time of your birth) to gain a relevant theoretical understanding of planetary placements and timings. Should you wish to delve deeper into your chart via a personalised reading from Dr.Haran, a limited number of sessions are available to secure here.

So you can fully settle into the practice, we suggest you avoid the need to move your car or risk a fine and park at the CARe multilevel carpark (8-14 King Street Prahran), a 140-metre walk from COY. 3 hours parking will be charged at $6.90.
Public transport - tram: Both the number 6 tram & 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. This is stop 31 on the number 6 tram (Moreland/Glen Iris) & stop 45 on the number 78 tram (North Richmond/Balaclava).
Public transport - train: Both Prahran & Windsor stations along the Sandringham Line will get you walking distance to Centre of You.
