Step right up for a special, sacred, candlelit crafternight! We will be creating a sacred, shamanic smudging tool to use within our personal and/or ceremonial practices. A tool which aids the directional flow of sacred smoke - sage, palo santo, copal, etc. A tool made of the most intentional components delivered from earth, water, air and the embodied energy of animal spirit to use with the activator element of fire once it ignites the flow of the sacred smoke we choose to work with.
First up:
We will ignite our connection and creational partnership with each universal element via cacao ceremony. By dropping into acknowledgment for each element that resides within, that makes up our being and that we cycle through as we journey the cyclical nature of life we will set ourselves up for creating from a place of oneness and presence.
Then:
As the spirit of cacao begins weaving through our being we will hear the story medicine of each component available before us to create with. We will hear of the birds that dropped their feathers at a time when they were no longer of service to them enabling us to now incorporate their energy and beauty into our forever sacred tool. We will hear of the personalities of chickens Gus, Kit, Izzy, Maggie, Paris, Clover and Mrs Chook and ducks - Aribella, Archie and Stella. We will hear of the lands of Worimi Country and Dja Dja Wurrung of which generously delivered for us gifts of the earth and ocean - driftwood, shells and sticks. And we will learn of the energy contained within the native feathers dropped from Kookaburra, Yellow Cockatoo and Black Cockatoo.
And then:
We create. We birth our sacred tool in introspective connection with it and it’s becoming. Angie and Grace will be on hand to call upon to assist with glue guns, wrapping and other fiddly bits so you can focus upon maintaining your patience and presence.
In closing:
We will activate our sacred tool.

Bring (optional):
All materials will be provided though you may wish to bring your own elements to incorporate into your sacred tool. If you would like to have the handle of your sacred tool incorporate more ethereal energy over the grounded energy of earth you may source a crystal rectangular in shape that feels right in your hand to hold - selenite would work well as an example. Other things you may wish to bring are special beads, feathers or sticks from your own special land. You may wish to also bring your journal to capture any insights that arise.
